The quilt made of traceable virgin wool
Wool is a truly unique natural material: it cools and warms, depending on the temperature. It neutralizes odors and is water repellent. And in the form of our lavalan comforter and pillow cover, wool is now also washable and even suitable for tumble drying!
The easy-care secret of lavalan® is in the corn-based polylactide fibers (PLA), which make up about 20% of the filling. The wool fiber and the PLA fibers are bonded together in a thermal process. The result: a natural fiber that brings all the advantages of wool and at the same time is absolutely easy to care for! The wool für these wonderful bedding comes from flocks of sheep from Norway and Switzerland.
This guarantees short distances from pasture to processing. The species-appropriate husbandry of the sheep is subject to the highest animal welfare standards. The animals are treated with respect and also during shearing it is self-evident that the animals are not tortured.
Another special feature of lavalan®: you can trace the filling back to its origin. Möglich makes it possible the QR code on each product: if you scan it, you will immediately know where the entire filling of your comforter comes from.
