About the manufacturer Mühldorfer
Our manufacturer Mühldorfer washes the processed down and feathers in the lime-free mountain spring water of the Bavarian Forest, and they are heated to over 120°C in the steam dryer. When they leave the factory, the feathers and down are dust-free, sterilised, refined and odour-free and are therefore considered anti-allergic. Mühldorfer products remain anti-allergic in use if the washing instructions are followed correctly. The down and feathers used are exclusively from geese or ducks and are obtained by the non-live plucking method. The fibres used for the fibre duvets are also certified and specially adapted for allergy sufferers and washable. All Mühldorfer fabrics used comply with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 FI Hohenstein. This means textiles tested for harmful substances in down feather-proof and fibre-proof fabrics. The tests were carried out according to product class 1 (products for babies).

After washing with fresh spring water and drying in the air stream, the germ- and dust-free selected down is filled into the beds in the ultra-modern filling plant. Ecologically grown cotton is processed and gently refined for the blankets and pillows. This results in fabrics of incomparably soft feel and noble appearance that meet the highest environmental standards.
